URGENT: Don’t Let the BOCC Silence Our Voice

We need Platte Canyon residents to SHOW UP in large numbers on Wednesday, May 14 at 3:00 PM for the public hearing at the Park County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) meeting in Fairplay—in person is incredibly powerful if you can.

We are fighting for the right to vote on creating a local Platte Canyon Health Service District—a decision that ONLY affects our community, not the rest of Park County.

  Last year, the BOCC derailed this process. We must make it impossible for them to ignore us this year. This is not a vote to approve the district—just a vote to let US decide via a vote. That’s it. We deserve the chance to vote on our own future.

  If we don't show up, they’ll think we don’t care. If we DO show up, they’ll have to listen.
