Update on the Platte Canyon Health Service District Proposal

Wednesday's presentation to the Board of County Commissioners went well! The Platte Canyon Health Service Committee shared the plan, and every person who spoke during public comment voiced support for the proposal.

HOWEVER, due to a procedural error (the County didn’t meet the 20-day notice requirement in The Flume), the hearing has been continued to Tuesday, June 4th at 3pm.

This means we’ll need your support again — either in person or via Zoom — for that hearing. The delay gives detractors more time to organize, so showing up and speaking up matters even more.

Can’t attend in person or via Zoom? You can still help!

Please email the commissioners with a brief statement of support and ask them to add your comment to the public record. Even if you do plan to attend, additional written comments are encouraged and appreciated.
