Our Seniors Deserve Better Than Silence and Suffering

Dementia, depression, and anxiety require medical oversight, but without doctors nearby, these conditions often go untreated. Seniors deserve mental and emotional well-being, too.

A community-led group is working on a proposal to establish the Platte Canyon Health Service District to improve access to care in Northeast Park County. This proposed district aims to bring a sustainable, community-supported health district that ensures residents have local access to primary care, urgent care, mental health care and essential medical services closer to home. The district must first be approved by the Park County Board of County Commissioners before going to a public vote in November.
