Spending hours on the road, missing work, and paying for gas just to see a doctor adds up. A local clinic wouldn’t just save time—it would save money.
A community-led group is working on a proposal to establish the Platte Canyon Health Service District to improve access to care in Northeast Park County. This proposed district aims to bring a sustainable, community-supported health district that ensures residents have local access to primary care, urgent care, mental health care and essential medical services closer to home. The district must first be approved by the Park County Board of County Commissioners before going to a public vote in November. Follow Health Safety and Welfare of Park County for updates.
